Just purchased my first designer (YSL) at Neiman Marcus department store and was wondering if it would’ve been better to purchase at their actual store instead? Do they provide repair or anything extra special?
If you're in the US, I usually get YSL from placed like Saks Fifth Avenue or Neiman Marcus. They usually have promos going on, like spend $X get $X of store credit. IIRC, they are currently doing that promo. If you buy often from the brand, I’d suggest YSL for a new bag, the boutique experience, and a relationship for private sales. If you buy once in a blue moon, department store is definitely also a good option, so long as it’s not returned or a floor model. #1.
